Spyware and Adware Removers - Review
Spyware and Adware Removers Review
Is someone watching every move you make on your computer? Do they know your every keystroke by using key loggers? Are they aware of your login ids and passwords? Perhaps your credit card numbers? Your social security number? If there’s Spyware or Adware on your computer, they likely do. Scared? You should be. If you’re like most Internet users, you’re probably infected with Spyware and Adware and you don’t even realize it. Yo may notice that your PC is grinding to a halt and don’t know why. Luckily, there’s something that can be done about it.
What is Spyware/Adware?
Spyware and Adware are Malware programs. These programs allow their users to spy on your Internet browsing activities. In the most innocent form, these programs are intended to allow companies to observe your purchasing habits and send you “pop-up” ads when they deem appropriate. However, there are more malicious uses for Spyware and Adware, including the intent of identity theft. Spyware can contribute to identity theft by recording your credit card numbers and other personal information. And as if the threat of identity theft isn’t enough, these Spyware and Adware programs can also cause your PC to crash resulting in your losing valuable data and time.
What Were The Tests We Completed
We ran a random PC test on hundreds of computers, and do you know what we found? Every single PC we tested was infected with some form of dangerous or annoying Adware or Spyware. Most computers had multiple infections and some even had hundreds. In a few cases as many as three thousand plus. It didn’t matter whether or not these PCs had virus and firewall protection, they were still infected. It is VERY important to note that a Firewall or Antivirus alone is not sufficent to block, detect or even remove malicious spyware. Then we tested a number of Spyware and Adware removers and discovered which ones worked best.
Our Top Choices
Out of the numerous software programs we tested, we came up with five of the best. Out of these five, we found SpywareBot.com and Adwarealert.com to offer the best and most comprehensive Spyware and Adware remover available. We can’t recommend them highly enough.
This is the review on these three cutting edge tools.
SpywareBot.com
Excellent! Our top pick!
- The site was easy to navigate.
- The Spyware/Adware remover was easy to use and best of all it was highly effective.
- Detected the most Spyware/Adware infections and returned no false positives.
Adwarealert.com
Yet another great Spyware/Adware remover that made it to our top-pick list.
- Huge database and little to no false positives.
- Fast and easy to use and also very effective.
Spyware Remover
Rounding out our top 3 is the official Spyware Remover. Loaded with more
features than the top 2, but may be a little more than the average user
requires. This app is perfect for the person who wants total control of
their Spyware Protection.
- Great at scanning for and detecting Spyware and Adware.
- Scans your computer for free and it was easy to use.
This one did scan quickly, but seemed to miss some of the Spyware and Adware infections. Their Spyware/Adware database does not seem to be as large as some of the other databases we tested.
